- $35–$45/hr + super for qualified painters
- 20% above award rates for apprentices

What You’ll Be Doing
As a predominantly residential painting company, your work will include:
- Custom new home painting
- Residential repaints
- Small commercial repaints
- Internal and external painting
- Plastering, repairs and job preparation
Qualified painters will also receive training in site assessments, quoting, client communication and job scheduling. Already experienced? Even better.
What You’ll Need
Qualified Painter
- Cert III in Painting & Decorating, or 5+ years painting experience
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and pride in your workmanship
- Current driver’s licence
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Residential experience preferred
- Willingness to learn BJC’s systems if you’re new to residential work
Apprentice
- Positive attitude, commitment and willingness to learn
- Started—or planning to start—Cert III in Painting & Decorating
- Genuine interest in building a long-term painting career
- Current driver’s licence
- Legal right to work in Australia
